Our award winning freshly cooked breakfasts use tasty local produce and set up our guests for a busy day’s sightseeing around historic Edinburgh.
Each morning guests can enjoy our full cooked Scottish breakfast including haggis, potato scones and free range eggs. We offer wonderful fresh ground coffee and an extensive range of teas including Shibui herbals to help ease you into the day. Plus cereals, fruit and yoghurt, wholemeal and white toast with specialist and homemade jams and spreads. A continental option of croissants, crumpets or muffins is also available. As a special treat guests may enjoy homemade flapjacks and homemade banana bread, both delicious!
Our “daily special” offers an alternative to the usual cooked breakfast, ideal for those travelling for a longer period of time who may appreciate greater variation.
Our popular daily specials include Loch Fyne smoked salmon and free range scrambled eggs on toasted bagel; homemade pancakes with bacon and maple syrup; eggs royale with smoked salmon and hollandaise; warm Belgian waffle with Scottish berries and maple syrup; free range 3 egg omelette with wilted spinach and goats cheese; and asparagus wrapped in parma ham and parmesan with poached eggs and hollandaise.
For guests requiring an early start to the day for tours or flights, we offer a tasty take away continental breakfast bag.
